Commitment

A commitment of funds that is a substantial and more than marginal invested in a U.S. business.  This could be starting a new enterprise or the purchase of an existing business.

Ownership

It is recommended that an owner or investor from Singapore have 51% or more ownership in the U.S. business.

Validity

Based on the agreement between the U.S. and Singapore, an approved E-2 visa will be issued for a period of twenty-four (24) months or two (2) years.

An E-2 visa from Singapore will permit multiple entries into the United States.
