Three Important Points for E-2 Visas | Costa Rica:  


A commitment of funds that is a substantial and more than marginal invested in a U.S. business.  This could be starting a new enterprise or the purchase of an existing business.


It is recommended that an owner or investor from Costa Rica have 51% or more ownership in the U.S. business.


Based on the agreement between the U.S. and Costa Rica, an approved E-2 visa will be issued for a period of sixty (60) months.


An E-2 visa from Costa Rica will permit multiple entries into the United States.
